Mary(Molly) L HAM
Molly was first married to John Rogers, a Colonel in the Civil War who was killed while home on furlough . He went to a grissmill. While getting off his horse a fellow with whom he had had trouble rode up and said: "Now John, that's all over, lets forget about that and shake hands." When John turned around to get the corn off his horse, the other fellow shot him in the back. Molly had four children by John Rogers: George W. 22 Feb 1856, James about 1961, John about 1863 and Maggie about 1864. In the 1870 census, a Mary Rogers was listed among the household of John Fults in the Grayson KY precinct along with her son James age 10. Widowed from the Civil War, perhaps she was living with a relative (brother maybe?) before she married William Bolling.
I133 Mary(Molly) married John ROGERS Colonel. (John ROGERS Colonel died about 1864.) Mary(Molly) next married William BOLLING, son of James R BOLLING and Mary(Polly) Elizabeth HAMMONS, about 1869 in Home Of Geo. Taylor. (William BOLLING was born on 21 Mar 1848 in Russell, (Wise Co), VA, died on 18 Nov 1935 in Hitchens, KY and was buried on 21 Nov 1935 in Lon Bolling Pl, Hitchens, KY.)
